Crepas Watches

Crepas

Vintage dive vibes. Modern specs. Zero nonsense.

Crepas isn’t here to impress your boss. Or your barista. Or your Instagram followers. This brand exists for one reason: hardcore dive watch fans who want retro design

and overbuilt specs — without the luxury markup. It’s niche. It’s Spanish. And it’s way better than it has any right to be.

Brand History

Founded in 2010 in Spain, Crepas (short for Compañía Relojera Especializada para Actividades Subacuáticas) set out with a clear mission: resurrect the glory days of

professional dive watches — and do it right.

They weren’t trying to reinvent the wheel. They were trying to perfect the tool diver: big cases, chunky bezels, vintage DNA, and actual dive capability. Think

Blancpain Fifty Fathoms meets Omega PloProf… but without the five-figure price tag.

And unlike a lot of microbrands that overpromise and underdeliver, Crepas consistently punches above its weight.

Collector Highlights

Every Crepas release is a limited edition, and they rarely repeat designs — which makes them low-key collectible:

  • Crepas Decomaster – Built like a tank. 4000m depth rating. Integrated decompression bezel. Legitimate saturation diver cred.

  • Crepas Cayman – Vintage styling with a super clean dial and wearable case size. One of their most popular models.

  • Crepas Hydrographer – Big, bold, unapologetic. Based on vintage British military spec divers.

  • Crepas Plongeur, Loggerhead, Tektite – All inspired by obscure or rare vintage references, with upgraded materials and movements.

Expect sapphire crystals, ceramic bezels, automatic helium escape valves, and Swiss ETA or Sellita movements — all in watches that cost less than a used iPhone.

Why Collectors Care

Because Crepas delivers what a lot of brands say they do: vintage soul, modern specs, no BS. These are watches you can actually dive with — or just wear to brunch

and feel like a guy who could dive 1000m if needed.

They’re also a field day for design nerds — every model is a love letter to some obscure historical reference, brought back with modern quality control and limited to

just a few hundred pieces.

In a world of homage brands and copycats, Crepas actually adds to the conversation.

Modern Watches & Current State

Crepas still operates like an indie brand — limited releases, direct-to-consumer sales, and little to no mass advertising. They don’t care about influencers. They care about specs.

Recent models continue the pattern: retro case shapes, crazy depth ratings, and unexpected throwback inspirations. Some sell out quickly. Others take time to find their people.

But all of them are built like proper dive instruments.

And once they’re gone? They’re gone.

Fed’s Take

Crepas is one of those brands I love having in inventory — because the people who buy them know what they’re getting. They don’t need convincing.

These watches aren’t trying to be dressy or delicate. They’re unapologetically toolish — in the best way. And the build quality? Better than a lot of “entry-level luxury”

stuff I’ve seen from bigger names.

If you’ve got a soft spot for vintage divers but actually want to wear your watches hard? Crepas delivers.
